For the past
12 years, Mr. Paz-Soldan has practiced law and public policy in Washington D.C. focusing on international trade, immigration
policy, and Native American and fisheries policy and legislation. He has represented foreign embassies, municipalities, and
trade associations before federal and state agencies, the White House, the U.S. Congress and international organizations.
He has also participated as an international observer in elections in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Bosnia, and had written
numerous editorials on U.S./Latin American relations for the Latin American Advisor.
Mr. Paz-Soldan provides DTB clients in the firm’s core practice areas expertise in international trade, agricultural
and food law and policy, government relations and lobbying, as well as fishery law and policy, immigration law and policy
and U.S.-Latin America commercial and trade relations. Mr. Paz-Soldan earned a law degree from the George Washington University
Law School and a member of the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania Bars. He did his undergraduate studies at Occidental
College and the Universite de Haute Bretagne in Rennes, France. Originally from Lima, Peru, he speaks fluent English, Spanish,
